Emotional intensity and impulsiveness often create challenges in resolving conflicts, particularly when strong feelings clash with rational decision-making. Individuals who experience heightened emotional reactions may struggle with patience, leading to confrontations rather than resolutions. However, when properly channeled, this intensity can also drive determination, courage, and a strong sense of justice.

Using the law, I guide clients toward Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), particularly mediation, which is an effective way to manage these tendencies. Mediation allows for a structured environment where emotions can be acknowledged but not allowed to dominate the process. Encouraging individuals to engage in dialogue rather than immediate legal battles helps them find solutions that preserve relationships and reduce unnecessary conflict.
I emphasize the benefits of mediation—such as cost-effectiveness, control over outcomes, and emotional de-escalation—I steer clients away from reactive decisions and toward a more strategic and constructive approach. Highlighting to them the value of patience and measured responses will not only help resolve their current disputes but also equip them with better conflict-resolution skills for the future.
